Fandom: Far Cry 3
Basic Appearance: Jason is 6’2”, with brown hair, green eyes, and a tan, with a set of tattoos that cover both forearms, and perpetual stubble. Is in his mid twenties.
Personality: Jason is a lot confident and very sure that what he does is a good idea. Problem is, he's also very much as likely to stab someone to solve whatever the current issue is as he is to talk about it. All the time he spent running for his life and barely surviving more than one attempt to kill him has left a mark.
He's still a daredevil and a bit reckless, but Jason is a man who found himself forced to grow up in the most violent and bloodsoaked way possible. Jason tries to preserve as much of what he can recall of himself before Rook, but all of it is tempered with the knowledge that he killed a lot of people. Some of them in very messy ways.
Basic Info and History: Born and raised an almost stereotypical rich white boy from California, Jason is a middle child who turned to being a daredevil to keep himself entertained. All that changed when he was twenty five, and a fun trip through Asia ended in a place called Rook Island.
Lured there by tales of being able to do anything, he and his friends were capture by drug runners, lead by a man named Hoyt. He planned to ransom them back to their families, and, once the families had paid, sell the group into slavery.
Jason escaped the camp with his oldest brother, only to watch him shot and killed by the man who ran that camp, Vaas. Allowed to escape, Jason only barely survived a man attempting to stab him, killing the man by accident.
That was the start of the fight, and Jason found himself as a pawn in island politics, slowly gaining strength and power of his own as he worked on rescuing his friends.
Part of this power was the tatu, a tattoo that was being placed on his skin that allowed him to grow stronger, faster, smarter, and much more vicious. At least, he thinks it is. It’s hard to tell on Rook. The place is full of legend and hidden labs.
One by one, he rescued his friends, and finally killed Hoyt, who had Jason’s younger brother. When Jason thought he had everyone, the woman who had been giving him the tatu and using him for her own gain took his friends and offered him a choice.
Kill his friends and stay with her, to be the warrior of legend, or be weak. He picked his friends, and left the island.
Jason isn’t sure how he’ll adjust back to being in ‘civilization’, but if he can’t, he knows the island will be a place he can return.
Alternatives: I also have a female alt for this character, named Jayce, mostly due to a meme that I really enjoyed playing with girlJason. AUs are fine, and I love taking characters to alternative fandoms or tweaking them all together.
